An Industrial Advisory Committee of computer science dept: meeting was successfully held at Nazeer Hussain University (NHU) on 24-07-24. The session was graced by distinguished external members, including:

The meeting commenced with an insightful opening speech delivered by our Chancellor, Engr.Farhat M.Khan In his address, the Chancellor underscored the critical importance of establishing robust industrial linkages within the field of computer science, emphasizing how these connections contribute to both academic excellence and industry relevance.
Following this, the Vice Chancellor, Prof.Dr.Bilal Ahmad Alvi, highlighted the necessity for both faculty and students to stay abreast of emerging trends in education that are crucial to meeting industry demands. His speech focused on the imperative for integrating current industry practices into the curriculum to better prepare our students for the evolving technological landscape.
The external members also shared valuable perspectives on the significance of certificate courses. They unanimously agreed that such courses are instrumental in equipping students with specialized skills and knowledge, thereby enhancing their employability and readiness for real-world challenges. During the fruitful meeting the Dean ,FEPS,Dr.Masror Ahmad ,Director Industrial liaisons and job placement, Engr.Mr.Irfan Ahmad Shiekh and computing faculty members give valuable input and suggestion
