BSc Civil Engineering Technology
Introduction
The Department of Civil Engineering was established in Nazeer Hussain University in 2019. The qualified faculty members are engaged with Civil Department to run the program successfully. Curriculum of Civil Engineering Technology is developed by National Technology Council Professional activities and training introduced for the pursuit of individual professional improvement. Conducting practical sessions with equipments in each lab to fulfill the demands of the progam.

To provide quality education in Civil Engineering Technology in order to prepare future leaders for regional, national and global industry. It is ready to provide opportunities specially to underprivileged students.
Program's Mission:
To provide technical knowledge, skills, techniques and ethics for continued life-long learning and solution of broadly defined technical problems through professional education and industrial training. It supports individual’s career and advancing managerial position in all sectors of business and industries related to Civil Engineering Technology.

Civil Engineering Technology program’s graduates should have following skills after gaining four years of education:

Civil Engineering Technology program has following PLOs which every student should successfully achieve to complete his/her graduation:
PLO_1 Engineering Technology Knowledge: An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, natural science, Engineering Technology fundamentals and Engineering Technology specialization to defined and applied Engineering Technology procedures, processes, systems or methodologies.
PLO_2 Problem Analysis: An ability to Identify, formulate, research literature and analyze broadly-defined Engineering Technology problems reaching substantiated conclusions using analytical tools appropriate to the discipline or area of specialization.
PLO_3 Design/Development of Solutions: An ability to design solutions for broadly- defined Engineering Technology problems and contribute to the design of systems, components or processes to meet specified needs with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, cultural, societal, and
environmental considerations.
PLO_4 Investigation: An ability to conduct investigations of broadly-defined problems; locate, search and select relevant data from codes, data bases and literature, design and conduct experiments to provide valid conclusions.
PLO_5 Modern Tool Usage: An ability to Select and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern technology and IT tools, including prediction and modelling, to broadly-defined Engineering Technology problems, with an understanding of the limitations.
PLO_6 The Engineering Technologist and Society: An ability to demonstrate understanding of the societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to Engineering Technology practice and solutions to broadly defined Engineering Technology problems.
