Training Session on Program Review for Effectiveness and Enhancement (PREE)
On 2 nd May 2025, Nazeer Hussain University(NHU) was conduct training session of Program Review for
Effectiveness and Enhancement (PREE) Under PSG 2023, HEC guideline.
The Office of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC)-NHU, under the leadership of Dr.Muhammad Faseeh
ullah khan, Director QEC , Ms. Zareen Hamid, Assistant Director QEC and external trainers Mr. Iftikhar
Mubashir (Director QEC) and Miss Umme Aiman (Manager QEC) from the University of Information
Technology (UIT), and Mr. Aqueel (Director QEC) from Karachi School of Business and Information
Technology (KSBI) and all PT(program Team) members of NHU were present.
The external trainers have successfully initiated the first Program Review for Effectiveness and
Enhancement (PREE) in alignment with the new Program Self-Assessment Guidelines (PSG) 2023
issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
These external trainers conducted comprehensive assessments of the selected programs using the
newly developed PREE framework and rubrics.
This initiative reflects NHU’s strategic commitment to aligning with national quality standards and
fostering a culture of academic excellence through transparent and continuous program evaluations.
