The Department of Rehabilitation and Health Sciences at Nazeer Hussain University (NHU) is one of the institution’s landmark initiatives, offering a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Rehabilitation Sciences.

Program Introduction

The Master of Philosophy in Rehabilitation Sciences is a dynamic and comprehensive postgraduate program offered by the Department of Rehabilitation & Health Sciences at Nazeer Hussain University.
This program is designed to prepare students as integral members of modern multidisciplinary healthcare teams, emphasizing advanced academic learning, clinical expertise and evidence-based practice.
It promotes critical research skills, leadership development and innovation within the field of Physical Therapy and Allied Health Sciences. OBJECTIVES

SCOPE OF THE M.PHIL PROGRAM:

The M.Phil in Rehabilitation Sciences provides advanced training in Physical Therapy and Allied Health Professions, focusing on the latest techniques, trends and research in the field.
Graduates of the program will:

  • Engage in original research, contributing to the development of innovative treatments and therapies for individuals with disabilities or injuries.

Eligibility Criteria (General):

The student desirous for seeking admission in M.Phil Program in Rehabilitation Sciences should have 16 years of Education in relevant field from HEC recognized Institution. The speciality-wise requirement is as:

  • For Master of Philosophy in Rehabilitation Sciences (Physical Therapy)
    Eligibility: 04 years Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy/ Physical therapy or 03 years B.Sc in Physiotherapy with one additional certificate course in physiotherapy or 05 years DPT program or Post Professional DPT or Master in Physiotherapy/ Physical Therapy or equivalent from HEC recognized University.
  • For Master of Philosophy in Rehabilitation Sciences (Health, Physical Education & Sports Sciences)
    Eligibility: Master in Health, Physical Education & Sports Sciences or 04 years Bachelor degree in Health, Physical or equivalent from HEC recognized University.
