Department of Pharmacy
Introduction:
Pharmacy Council of Pakistan in its meeting held in March, 2015 approved the Pharm. D. Program to be offered at NHU. The Faculty of Pharmacy takes pride in declaring NHU as one of the few selected institutions in the country to impart quality education in the discipline. In the Progressive Health Care Sciences Pharmaceutical Practices play a central role to serve and protect lives.
The Faculty of Pharmacy at the NHU provides state of art facilities that include well equipped labs and library with access to HEC digital library: Air-conditioned lecture halls and auditorium.
The curriculum approved by the PCP is enriched with the recent advancements in the subject and is taught by highly qualified faculty.
The academic activities at NHU are strengthened and supported by the guest speaker sessions, seminar, visits to industry and exhibitions. The beautiful environment with a beautiful cafeteria is an additional attraction to our students.
Vision
The Faculty of Pharmacy at the NHU shall be known as the center of excellence for imparting quality education in Pharmacy, supporting health care practice and research. It will foster global leaders in the discipline.
Mission
The faculty of Pharmacy at the NHU will help improve the health and wellbeing of the society by producing high class graduate in the Pharmacy, who would stand to the challenges of discipline to independently face the responsibility of drug therapy and effects in patients. NHU qualified Pharmacy graduate will have potential scientific rationale, awareness of multicultural variations and capability of leadership in Pharmacy practice, education and society.
